These instructions, I believe, have been responsible for our downward spiral.
It is like expecting us to live on fairy floss - it looks super appealing but offers little more than false expectations and bewildering disappointment.
There are other maps—maps crafted hundreds, if not thousands, of years ago—that contain initiations and rites of passage that set us up for an entirely different experience.
These are the fairy tales we needed—but never heard.
Fairy tales that were taken, sweetened, refined, heavily processed and returned to us devoid of the nourishment they originally contained.
Traditional Fairy Tales are, in all their various iterations, the story of life and the calls to adventure we have little choice but to answer.
They promise that life will throw many curveballs that are ours to catch or drop.
They show us how our greatest trials serve us.
How losing our way is the only way home.
How to connect with the wisest guides of all.
The divine duality of masculine and feminine.
What love is.
They are stories of birth, death, and rebirth - the cycle of life.
The rupture, the return, and the rise.
A story that is as old as time, lived, but misunderstood.
For those with no interest in Fault, Blame, Guilt, or Shame.
For those who want to cultivate the art of living a rich and emotionally intelligent life.
For those who want to take ownership of their story - past, present, and future.
For those who seek to live a profoundly meaningful and deeply fulfilling life.
